If you love creative writing you will love this “Easy but Brilliant Ways to Make Your Story Fun!” online course

If you write novels for children/teens, and want to make them the best they can be, you will enjoy this step-by-step online course to go through at your own pace, wherever you are in the world.

By the end of the course you will be buzzing with exciting ways to breathe new life into your novel!

If you are writing to share the good news of Jesus in some way, your novel will already be extra special, because it has eternal value…

but the better written it is, the more children will read and enjoy it!

Our children are worth a bit of extra effort. In the parable of the talents, the servants who received the gifts had to put them to work… the servant who buried his talent was in trouble – don’t let that be you!

Most writers struggle on alone hoping their writing is good enough, but, as with any field of life, a little bit of help can work wonders. This course can help you transform your novel with a few simple, proven tweaks.

ā€œThank you for taking the time to educate those of us who feel we have a story just waiting to erupt from the depths of our souls.ā€

Hello! My name is Janet Wilson. Iā€™m a mum, grandma and founder of Dernier Publishing (we publish Christian books for children) and Write for a Reason.

In my role as a publisher, I have learnt a few things about great novels, which I would love to pass on to you, to help you make your stories the very best they can be.

I am a Christian, and this course reflects that, but whatever your beliefs, you will find plenty to help you in your own writing journey.

You can start RIGHT NOW! When you join this course you will be able to get to work IMMEDIATELY on your manuscript… or if you’re brand new to writing, you will have some great ideas ready for when you take the plunge. šŸ™‚

I would count it a privilege to help you on your writing journey.

In this course we will be looking at how to make your novel lots of fun, so your readers will love your story!

The course has five lessons (each with a writing exercise), plus an introduction and conclusion:

Lesson Two: How to Add Humour to Your Story
In lesson two we will look at several different ways you can add humour, and how using them can add depth and enjoyment to your novel.

Lesson Three: When to Add Humour to Your Novel
