We all need encouragement. Sometimes our encouragement comes directly from the Lord and his word. Sometimes his encouragement comes indirectly through other people. Sometimes we have to do what David once did when faced with a difficult situation, and encourage ourselves in the Lord! (1 Samuel 30:6)
One of our Write for a Reason Monthly Members had this great idea, which I thought I would pass on to you: “Recently I started to keep a notebook of helpful quotes/sayings etc. The one for today is, ‘Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration‘.”
What a great idea, keeping a booklet with inspirational quotes to help you on your writing journey! Could you do that?
Here are three more great quotes to start you off:
“Dreams don’t work unless you do.” – Unknown
“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” – Dale Carnegie
“Ships in harbour are safe, but that’s not what ships were built for.” – John Shedd
Do these give you courage? If not, why not find some quotes of your own? 🙂 Please come over to the website and add your favourites in the comments, or over on facebook – let’s encourage each other!
Janet
P.S. If you have some free time this week, why not come over to the website and read a few more tips? You might find just the thing you need!
