Here’s a quick creative writing tip for you:
Before you start writing your story, write a character list, then sketch out a description of each of your characters.
Include their personality, looks, hobbies, dreams and aspirations, loves and hates, family, friends, school, culture, financial situation, temperament, clothing preferences…
Write as much as you like! Then when you get to writing your story, it will all be there.
You don’t need to do this in your ‘writing time’ – jot down notes any time you have a free moment!
