Think of Your Readers
A quick tip for you today: Match the danger and suspense levels with your readers.
You don’t want to give them nightmares!
Equally, you don’t want to bore them – you want your story to be exciting.
How do you get this balance just right? How do you know what’s acceptable and what isn’t?
Here are three tips:
- Read books that are currently popular with your audience – glean everything you can from them.
- Spend time with your target readers. Talking to them will help.
- Join a writers’ group. Your fellow writers will have wisdom to share.
