A little while ago I sent out a writing tip to say that if you have a story sitting on your computer somewhere, why not get it out and give it to a child? Don’t waste it!
Writer for a Reason Maggie did exactly that. She added some pictures, printed out her story, tied it will a beautiful big pink ribbon, and gave it to her grandaughter, Dolly.
Isn’t that such a great idea!

Maggie told me, “It was pure joy to make.“
Who knows what seeds may have been sown in Dolly’s life, through this wonderful story her grandma wrote for her? And what impact it could have – not just now, but in the future.
You can do this, too – for a nephew, niece, cousin, Sunday School kids, girl next door…
If you have done anything like, this, let me know, because stories like these, about real writers, who do real things, is a huge encouragement to others.
Enjoy your writing this week,
Janet
