This time of year I usually suggest a people-watching session. 🙂
You can do this while waiting in a queue to pay for shopping, or for your coffee in a café, or waiting for a meal to arrive in a restaurant, or in a bus, at a party, or anywhere really!
Church is another good place to watch people…
Choose one person to look at. If you have a notes app on your phone, or keep a writing journal handy, jot down a few notes. You might like to start with their appearance and dress. What does that say about them? What might they be thinking?
Anything that comes to mind, write it down – you might even end up with the bones of a story!
